Our All of Alaska fully-guided 7 night/8 day multi-day land tour is a perfect adventure for independent travelers or groups. The schedule is also coordinated for passengers departing on a Royal Caribbean or Celebrity cruise from Seward. This 5-day itinerary will bring you to many of Alaska’s major highlights, starting with the opportunity to experience Denali National Park where you’ll watch for its “Big Five” wildlife, including moose and bears, while marveling at the awe-inspiring mountain views. A ride on the Alaska Railroad, with dinner in first-class, will bring you to Talkeetna where you’ll take a thrilling jet boat ride to access places that can’t be reached any other way, learn about Native Alaskan culture and enjoy Talkeetna with its many historic charms. After your visit in Talkeetna, you’ll continue your way down the Parks Highway, making stops for a Dog Sledding tour and a visit to the Reindeer Farm. You’ll then continue on the Seward Highway to Whittier, Alyeska Ski Resort, Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, and Moose Pass, a very rare stop made on multi-day tours! Spend two nights in Seward, with one day spend in Kenai Fjords National Park searching for whales and massive glaciers! This 8-day tour will bring you to every part of Alaska that you MUST see when visiting!

    Tour starts in Fairbanks and ends in Anchorage for those flying out or in Seward for those boarding a ship on Fridays.

Day 1: Arrive in Anchorage
Your exciting journey begins with your arrival into Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city. While it’s home to more residents than any other city in the state with a population of over 300,000, it covers 1,900 square miles, much of which is mountainous and uninhabited. Here, it’s not unheard of to see moose walking down the middle of the street, especially in the foothills and bears are occasionally spotted in residential areas too.
Jump aboard your luxury motorcoach that will bring you to your accommodation. You’ll have time to get settled in and refreshed before taking advantage of the shopping options in downtown. Or, enjoy a stroll on the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail which runs 11 miles from downtown Anchorage to Kincaid Park.
A local guide will meet you in your hotel lobby this evening for a welcome dinner.

Day 2: Denali Dreamin'

Your morning begins with an unforgettable itinerary including a trip into Denali National Park! Enjoy spectacular views of the unspoiled tundra, forest, and, a chance to see, the “Great One,” Mount Denali, which towers over the landscape at more than 20,300 feet high. After your arrival, a boxed lunch will be provided for you to enjoy before taking off on your adventure! You will have an E-Bike waiting to take you on a ride through Denali like you never could have imagined. A guide will be at the front of the pack to help spot wildlife and navigate the trails in Alaska. Not into biking? That's okay! Take your swing at golfing in Denali National Park, a 9-hole course surrounded by lush wilderness and towering mountains. Relax and enjoy your afternoon on the course!
Looking for to journey to the wild side? We have just the adventures for you! Take your spin at navigating an ATV through Denali National Park! OR Rent a Jeep and drive yourself through Denali National Park, stopping at your leisure and allowing you to have a unique and private opportunity to create life long memories! OR Zip-line through Denali's tundra! Explore 7 different zip-lines at varying speeds and heights, while taking in the inspiring views surrounding you. Must choose one activity for the day that is included in the tour price, any additional activities will have a fee. Please speak with your booking coordinator for more information on adding activities to your itinerary.
After your fascinating afternoon, you’ll be able to fuel your appetite with a hearty dinner at the Denali Park Dinner Theatre, where Alaskan history comes to life! Enjoy the rest of your evening with free time at your accommodation.

Day 3: Denali Dreamin' Part Two

Begin a full day of exciting experiences early in the morning with your FREE day in Denali! Today, you will get to spend the entire day in Denali National Park, where the options for exploration will be endless! The tour activities offered on Day 2 are the same offerings for Day 3. You choose which tour you take on each day, we want this to be YOUR Alaskan adventure of a lifetime!

We deeply believe that two days in Denali gives you all the opportunities to view wildlife and catch a glimpse at the peak of Denali to become a part of the group of folks who have been able to see it! Boxed lunches will be served this day depending on which tour you choose.
Dinner will be had at a local establishment in the area. Enjoy the rest of the evening exploring the Denali area, whether you choose to take an evening hike under the Midnight Sun or shop to your heart's content in the Denali shopping district, the choice is yours!

Day 4: Alaska Rail Road & Wasilla
Say your goodbyes to Denali this morning with either a short hike before departure.  Once the morning is over, you will begin your train journey to Talkeetna.
This afternoon, you will climb aboard the infamous Alaska Railroad, where you will sit back, unwind and enjoy the dazzling mountain scenery and wildlife on your way to Talkeetna. Lunch will be served on-board the train. Keep your eye out for grazing moose, flying eagles, salmon-feasting bears, and maybe a chance to lay eyes on a Dall's Sheep!
After your arrival to Talkeetna, dinner will be had at the Denali Brewing Co. After dinner, you will board a flight-seeing tour around Denali and the surrounding area! Take in some of the most incredible views of the Alaska Range you can find and bask in the beauty that is Denali. Or, you can choose to jump aboard a Talkeetna River Natural History Float,  where you will learn about the flora and fauna of the land before dinner at Denali Brewing Co.
Once you have had dinner in Talkeetna, you will board your luxury tour coach and begin the quick journey to Wasilla, home of the Iditarod Headquarters!

Day 5: The reindeer are runnin'!
After breakfast in Wasilla this morning, you’ll board your luxury motor coach and head to the Iditarod Headquaters where you will learn all about Alaska's most fmaous dogssledding race! Take in the histroical facts at the msueum and even get a chance to watch some of the amazing house made videos explaining how the Iditarod came about.
After your visit to the Iditarod Museum, you will board your luxury tour coach and begin the journey to House of Bread, a local favorite for gourmet sandwich options.
Once your hunger is satisfied, you will head to the Reindeer Farm to meet, feed, and pet reindeer! After this, you will board your luxury motor coach and head to Anchorage, Alaska's biggest city.
Upon arrival to Anchorage, enjoy a one-hour narrated city tour. Dinner will be at 49th State brewing Co and you will have the rest of the evening to explore downtown Anchorage. Please click HERE for a list of recommended shopping locations in Anchorage.

Day 6: Wild About Animals!
Your day begins with breakfast at your hotel in Anchorage. After breakfast, you will join the rest of the group to board your luxury tour coach to Whittier, Alaska! Experience going through North America's longest tunnel and see a town that was built behind a mountain for protection during WW2! You will have the opportunity to hike the Byron Glacier Trail, taking you to a fascinating snow cave and offering views of glaciers that feel like they are so close you can touch them! Lunch will be had in Whittier.
After your visit to Whittier, you will head to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center in Portage, Alaska. You will have the opportunity to meet Alaska's native animals and learn more about how these animals are able to live in Alaska's harsh and unpredictable climate.
Once you've said your goodbyes to your new animals friends, you will board your luxury tour coach and begin your journey to Alyeska Ski Resort. The journey to Girdwood, Alaska will be one to remember, offering magnificent views and eagle sightings like no other, we promise this short drive will leave you wanting more! Upon arrival to Alyeska, you will be given the opportunity to UPGRADE* your experience with a ride on the Alyeska Tram. This tram goes up to the top of Mount Alyeska, offering 360 degree views of mountains, glaciers, and the ocean!
Not a fan of heights? Spend your time exploring the resort or hike the Virgin Falls Trail. The options for exploration are endless!
After your done exploring Alyeska and the Girdwood area, you will head to Moose Pass for dinner at Trail Lake Lodge! Moose Pass is an unincorporated town and is home to just about 200 residents. Home to the number one float plane school in AK, float planes take off and land all day long right next to the lodge.  Seward is your next stop, where you will spend the night gazing out at Resurrection Bay.

Day 7:Blowin' Bubbles
Your morning begins with breakfast at your hotel in Seward, Alaska. After breakfast, you will begin your exciting day! You will first receive admission to the Alaska SeaLife Center, Alaska's only public aquarium. Their rescue and rehabilitation work with animals in Resurrection Bay and Kenai Fjords National Park is part of the reason Seward has such an abundant sea life population!
After your visit, you will begin your Glacier and Whale Watching Cruise through Kenai Fjords National Park with Major Marine Tours! This 6-hour cruise will get you right up close and personal with a tidewater glacier, sending chills through your entire body. Watching for glacial calving and keep your eye out for Dall's Porpoise playing in the wake of the boat. Lunch is provided on board your cruise. Looking for some thing more adventurous? Take yourself on a Kayak Adventure through Kenai Fjords National Park! You will be provided all needed gear and a guide to take you deep into the park to kayak next to calving tidewater glaciers. This experience is not for the faint of heart, but incredibly worth is for the enthusiastic wildlife spotters! Lunch is provided. OR Looking to see glaciers, whales, and drop a line? Then add a Deep Sea Fishing experience searching for Halibut, Salmon, Rockfish, and Lingcod to your trip! Lunch is provided. Processing and shipping to your home will be done by the supplier. Spaces are very limited. The tours listed above do have a change fee associated, if you would like to change to one of these tours instead of the Glacier and Whale Watching cruise, please let your booking advisor know.
For the hikers, you will have the opportunity to hike Mount Marathon, Every 44th of July in Seward, residents will take their turns barreling up and down this 4,826 foot tall mountain in hopes of claiming the title of winner. You won't have to race, this will be a slow and steady hike, but is recommended for those who have experience hiking and are in good physical health. This tour may be chosen in place of the Glacier and Whale Watching Cruise. Lunch is after the hike, snacks will be provided during. There is no change fee associated with this tour, please let your booking advisor know if you would like to hike Mount Marathon instead of the Glacier and Whale Watching Cruise.
After your return from your chosen activity for the day, you will join the group for dinner. The rest of the evening will be yours to enjoy. Live music is commonly found at the local bars in the area!

Today’s Highlights: Alaska SeaLife Center, Glacier and Whale Watching Cruise, Kenai Fjords National Park

Day 8: Homeware Bound
Your day begins in Seward with breakfast at your hotel. After your belly is filled, you will board your luxury motor coach and head to Exit Glacier, Alaska's most accessible glacier! Here you will be able to go on a short and relaxing 1.5 mile hike to get an up close and personal look at this massive receding glacier. Once finished, you will board your luxury motor coach and head back to Anchorage where you will be dropped off at the Ted Stevens International Airport for a flight home.

    We had high expectations and Alaska Gold Standard Tours did not disappoint! From the mi-nute we booked to our final departure our every need was taken care of.
